Dixie Drive Vanity & Door
Custom-built for daily use, this 100-inch floating vanity and pocket door pair structural precision with warm, tactile millwork in a mid-century modern home in Chapel Hill.
Hand-Carved Pulls
Sculpted cherry pulls inspired by Pierre Chapo complement curly figure drawer faces, opening smoothly to reveal solid maple boxes with traditional through dovetails.
Ventilated Towel Rack
The angled slatted rack mirrors the home’s playful architecture, opening up the primary suite while providing natural ventilation to keep everyday bath linens fresh.
Seamless Curved Transitions
A soft, continuous curve connects the main cabinetry to the angled towel rack, aligning seamlessly with the profile of the tiled countertop above.
Concealed Bracing & Battens
Iron brackets and a wood ledger keep the floating frame rigid and grout crack-free, while batten-stabilized doors with Blum hinges stay flat and quiet.
Reeded Glass Pocket Door
Framed in solid cherry with tempered reeded glass for privacy and soft light, the sliding door rests flush against straight-grain cedar-clad bathroom walls.
Cast Bronze Hardware
Handcrafted Rocky Mountain Hardware flush pulls in a Light White Bronze finish provide a refined, dependable handhold when accessing the lavatory.
“This was one of the best experiences of our entire renovation.”
