FritsJurgens Pivot Hinges
The solid wood door floats on System FX hinges. The concealed mechanism allows the heavy slab to hold positions at every 90°, swing smoothly, and close with vault-like precision.
One Walnut Slab
A single slab of air-dried, live-edge walnut grounds the collection. It forms the door’s hinge stile, shapes the coat rack, and builds the cabinet base for seamless visual flow.
Rocky Mountain Hardware
A 16" Aurora Grip in silicon bronze dark lustre anchors the door. The solid American made cast bronze handle provides a heavy, textured touchpoint against the smooth cherry door.
Dovetailed Shoe Console
An initial shoe rack concept expanded into a full console. The final piece features visible dovetails, flared legs, custom walnut pulls, and solid brass hinges.
