Indoor Furniture

Starr Woodworks warrants its indoor furniture for the original owner’s lifetime against failure due to craftsmanship or structural wooden components under normal use. If a failure occurs due to joinery or material issues, we will repair or replace the piece at our discretion.

Outdoor Furniture & Installations

Outdoor commissions include a one-year warranty on workmanship and joinery. This covers the critical “Four Seasons” acclimation period, ensuring the piece remains stable through a full cycle of seasonal movement. Note: Natural weathering and finish degradation are inherent to outdoor exposure and are not considered defects.

Hardware & Components

Hardware, electrical components, and upholstery are covered under a one-year warranty from the date of delivery, provided they are used under normal conditions.

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, natural wood movement or finish changes due to climate/sunlight, damage from misuse or accidents, or unauthorized repairs.


Returns & Cancellations

Bespoke Commissions

Due to their one-of-a-kind nature, all custom commissions are final sale. Any issues regarding craftsmanship or damage are fully resolved under our Warranty terms.

Standard Shop Items

Returns on standard shop items are accepted within 30 days of delivery if in original condition. Buyer is responsible for return shipping, and a 15% restocking fee applies.

Cancellations

  • Custom Commissions: Deposits become non-refundable once the relevant phase has commenced and resources have been allocated.

  • Standard Orders: Fully refundable prior to shipment.
